The RDS Team catalogs monographs and serials for the Music Library using appropriate procedures for those formats. Music recordings and scores are cataloged in the Music Library (with a few exceptions).* If you have questions about whether something should be cataloged in RDS or in Music, refer the material to your supervisor.
(*As of February 2018, the RDS Team has been cataloging the Music Library's firm order DVDs.)
MUSIC LIBRARY PROCEDURES
These procedures apply to the Music Library only. RDS catalogers do not use these procedures.
