Remote Access to ArcGIS

For remote access to the Earth Science & Map Library's computers, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to https://https://virtualdesktop.colorado.edu/

Step 2: Click "VMWare Horizon HTML Access":

 

Step 3: Login using your Identikey:

Step 4: Select Benson:

 

Step 5: ArcGIS applications are located in the Department Applications folder:

Step 6: Open ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap. Note: ArcGIS Pro requires an account with CU Boulder's ArcGIS Online Organization. You can request an account here. ArcMap does not require an account.

 

IMPORTANT: Please be aware of the amount of time you are logged into the virtual labs and be respectful of the other students/faculty who will need to access the software. The virtual labs are limited resources and staying logged in for long periods of time prevents others from accessing them.

Log out when finished using the software in order to release the machine for use to others. Use the desktop icon shown below to log off or sign out using the Windows menu.
