National Poetry Month: Community Poem 2021

Exquisite Hope: One Poem, Many Voices

In April 2021, to celebrate National Poetry Month and to offer our community an opportunity for collective expression during a challenging time, the University Libraries invited members of the CU Boulder community to contribute words, anonymously, to write a collective poem.

We were delighted that many authors contributed. The Libraries' Learning and Engagement Team gathered colleagues to bring those words to life through a recorded reading. Librarians contributing to the reading and recording were Caroline Sinkinson, Amanda Rybin Koob, Daniel Johnston, Abbey Lewis, Sarah Hagerman, and Megan Welsh.

Despite being far apart, we were thrilled to create and find inspiration from the Libraries' community.
