“Deloitte” is the brand under which thousands of professionals in independent firms provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management, and tax support for select clients. These firms are members of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, a UK private company limited by guarantee (“DTTL”). Each DTTL member firm provides services in particular geographic areas and is subject to the laws and professional regulations of the particular country or countries in which it operates.

EY has 190,000 professionals located around the world. EY was formerly known as Ernst and Young. It offers Advisory, Assurance, Tax, Strategic Growth Markets, Transactions, and Specialty Services.

KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services. They operate in 155 countries and have more than 162,000 people working in member firms around the world.

PwC (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers) serves 26 industries. PwC provides industry-focused services in the fields of assurance, tax, human resources, transactions, performance improvement and crisis management. The company has helped to resolve complex client and stakeholder issues worldwide.

The largest of Colorado’s locally based public accounting and consulting firm, EKS&H was founded in 1978 by Doug Ehrhardt and Bill Keefe. They were soon joined by Dave Steiner , a Colorado native and CU alum (BusAcct’75). Eventually, Ehrhardt, Keefe & Steiner merged with Hottman, Harris & Drake, another Denver firm, founded by another Colorado native, Bob Hottman. While this firm has grown to be a global accounting firm, it largely recruits from Colorado schools. Over 60 employees are CU alums.
