Sources of data and statistics are increasingly available from researchers, government organizations, publishers, and other groups.  Below are a sample of data resources.  If you would like help finding data, contact your librarian.

Data Tools and Resources

  • Data Management Planning (DMP) Tool- Web site that helps you create, plan, and share data management plans
  • re3data- the Registry of Research Data Repositories can help you find a place for your data, and find data sets
  • Open Data Stack Exchange- Question and answer site for developers and researchers interested in open data
  • Figshare- Open repository for data outputs that is fully searchable and citable
  • GitHub- Repository for programmers using Git, an open source version control system
