Investext provides research reports written by analysts at leading investment banks, brokerage houses and consulting firms. Includes both current and historical reports.
Morningstar Investment Research Center
Morningstar Investment Research Center has some of the most thorough analyst reports available.
S&P NetAdvantage
Search by company name or ticker, then use the links on the left for equity reports, industry survey, business history, charting, and more.
Value Line Research Center
Value Line Investment Survey and Online Research Center. For quick access to the latest stock report for your target company, use the search box at the very top of the homepage and search by ticker symbol.
Mergent Online
Search by company name, ticker, SIC or NAICS code. Choose your company, then look for the "Company Reports" tab. When that tab is open, you will see "Equity Reports," "Industry Reports," and "Broker Research Reports" as options below. "Broker Research Reports" are the same content as Investext.
Gale Business: Insights
Search by company name, then choose the company profile from the list of results. Scroll to find Investment Reports in the "Financial Performance" section. Reports come from sources such as Reuters, ValuEngine, Inc., Pivotal Research Group, Trefis, and many more

When deciding which databases to search there are a few considerations:

Time News comes out first, followed by trade publications, then scholarly articles.
Audience News is often written for a popular audience, trade publications for industry insiders (great source for the language of this industry), and scholarly articles for experts.
Depth New articles due to its timeliness are often short and quick, while trade publications will cover the topic more in-depth but from the viewpoint of the industry, and scholarly articles will probe the topic in-depth while also acknowledging counter viewpoints.

Factiva
Most comprehensive source of worldwide local, regional, national, and international newspapers. In addition, you can find U.S. and international company profiles and industry reports.
Nexis Uni
Comprehensive source for local, regional and national newspapers in the United States, plus some international sources. Strong source for legal, company (including private), and country research.

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Strengths and weaknesses are generally internal to the company, while opportunities and threats are external factors.

Business Source Ultimate (EBSCO)
You can find SWOT analyses for most major companies by searching Business Source Complete for "(company name) AND SWOT".
