CU students, staff and faculty may request materials from any CU location, including the PASCAL off site facility. You may also request materials we don’t own that are checked out, lost or missing.

Retrieve it from the library of your choice (1-2 days)
If the item is checked out, the request will take seven days or more. Try requesting from other libraries if you need it sooner.
All users are guaranteed a 14 day checkout (excluding short term checkouts of less than 14 days). After that, any book may be recalled for another University patron, or for Course Reserve. Typically, you are given 10 days to return the item, unless it was already due in less than 10 days. An email notice is sent the same day that an item is recalled, so the clock starts ticking immediately!
The quickest way to receive books and some media not available at CU. Request materials that are not available, checked-out, or missing. Prospector is a group of Colorado and Wyoming Libraries. Look for the link in the library catalog.
If what you want isn’t available in Prospector, you may be able to find it in Prospector’s partner catalog MOBIUS. Look for the link within Prospector to take you there.
Borrow materials and get scans from libraries around the world. Use WorldCat to find what you’re looking for and request a loan through ILLiad.
If you are looking for an article or book chapter, search OneSearch to locate. If the article or chapter is not available, you may request a scan through interlibrary loan.
Search for the article and choose 'Read Online'
If the full-text is not available, look for the option to Request a Copy.
Login to Illiad to request. You will receive an email when it is available for viewing, printing, and downloading.
