The Library Catalog

The Basics

The Library Catalog has a new look and feel! It is a mobile friendly tool that will allow you to search for materials, place holds, renew materials, and review your Library account.

Use it when you are:

  • Searching for a specific book by title
  • Placing a hold on an item
  • Searching by call number
  • Browsing by titles

Don't use it when you are:

  • Looking for articles
  • Looking for databases

What is different:

  • The default is a keyword search
  • No check-out history
  • Databases are not included
  • Prospector is on pause

The Interface

Explore the library catalog interface. Click on the plus signs to learn more.

Some key features of our library catalog:

  • Manage your library account by logging in via the link in the upper right corner.
  • Search by keyword (the default search) or designate a specific field, such as title by adjusting the search drop-down.
  • Explore search options such as the advanced search, browsing the collection, or search by course, course number, or instructor to locate course materials available for limited check-out.
  • Let us know what you think!
