Welcome to the Exceptionality in Children's and Young Adult materials guide! Find books and materials about exceptional kids and teens at University Libraries through this guide.
These books and resources address exceptional kids and teens, who have one or more areas of significant differences from normal functioning. Exceptionalities can be cognitive, emotional, or physical. Autism, deafness/hearing impairment, dyslexia, and paraplegia are just a few examples of the broad spectrum of exceptionalities. Books are divided by intended audience and then by exceptionality.
