Citing Photographs

Different citation styles have specific elements that must be included in an image citation. Typically, image citations include some or all of the following elements. Typically, image citations include some or all of the following elements.

Original

Artist's name, the title of the artwork in italics, and the date of composition, name of the institution, location of the institution.

Artist's name. Title of the work in italics. Date, Institution, Location. Title of Work, edition, contributors, publisher, page number.
