Do a Preliminary Search

In order to identify your initial topic and to determine whether or not it is feasible, you need to do some preliminary searching. Here are some sources to get you started. Most of these are reference resources, much like Wikipedia but with a little more scholarly credibility.

These resources will also help you identify some initial research and narrow your topic. These will give you many different results, so they are a good source to use when you are trying to narrow your search and develop your research question.
