Mindfulness Room

Visit the Mindfulness Room in Norlin Library

The University Libraries are proud to offer a space for personal contemplation, prayer or meditation. The Mindfulness Room (E103A) on the first floor of Norlin Library near the east entrance provides a place to reflect between classes. Warm lighting and minimal furniture contribute to the room’s calm ambiance. There are several chairs, meditation cushions and prayer rugs available for use. There is also a browsable collection of over 30 books that explore several faith and spiritual traditions, secular practices, art, and poetry.

The Mindfulness Room is open to students, faculty, and staff with a valid Buff OneCard. Just tap the card on the face of the keypad. No reservation is needed. Read news story about the opening and intention behind the room.
