Research instruction online tutorial  is a core component of the Program for Writing and Rhetoric first-year writing course (WRTG 1100, 1150, 1160, 1250).

RIOT is designed to help cultivate your information literacies and to:

• Introduce research as an intellectual process connected to learning and inquiry

• Introduce habits of mind that extend your research, reading, and writing practices

• Provide a conceptual overview of the research process as well as CU tool-based instruction
