JWST 4837: Jews in the American West (Wartell): Finding Information

Search tips and tricks

When searching, consider what words describe your topic.

  • Using terms in quotes, such as "American West," will help retrieve results containing that exact phrase.
  • Consider using an asterisk to replace a variety of word endings. For example, searching for Jew* will retrieve results about Jews, Jew, and Jewish.
  • Think of synonyms and use these terms to find more information. For example, if you can't find information using the term "temple," try using "synagogue."
