HathiTrust Emergency Collection: Home

Go to HathiTrust now.

The HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service is available to University of Colorado Boulder students, faculty and staff.

1. Go to the HathiTrust website.
2. Click the Log In button.
3. Select "University of Colorado Bouder" in the dropdown box, and click Continue.
4. Log in using your Identikey and password.

To Check Out HathiTrust Emergency Collection eBooks

1. You must be logged in to HathiTrust.
2. You will see that an eBook can be checked out because it will have a link that says Temporary Access. Click on the Temporary Access link.
3. You will see an orange banner at the top that says 'Access to this work is provided through the Emergency Temporary Access Service.' Click on the Check Out button next to this banner.
4. Get access to the text!

• Books can be checked out for 1 hour. Access will renew automatically at the end of that hour, unless another user requests the book after that hour is over.
• “Temporary Access” books can be read only online. 
• “Temporary Access” books can only be accessed only by students, staff, and faculty.
