Library Class

Welcome to the LibGuide to accompany course RUSS 3221: Space Race in Russian and American Cultures! Today's library instruction, taught by Jim Kalwara, Slavic Subject Specialist, will help you find, access, and evaluate authoritative secondary sources as well as identifying how to incorporate primary sources into your research throughout the semester. This session will also help you gain comfort in using library databases and tools and how to get more help.

Exercise Details

In this session, you will be working in small groups to begin creating a bibliography for your research topic. Our goal is to try and find at least 2 resources from the assigned material type, analyze these resources, provide a recommendation, and add them to a bibliography. We will work through the exercise sheet to accomplish this. Additionally, we will cover search strategies and library tools which will be useful for your research.
