Welcome to the LibGuide to accompany course RUSS 4471/5471: Women in the 20th-21st Century Russian Culture! Today's library instruction session, taught by Jim Kalwara, Slavic Subject Specialist, will help you find, access, and evaluate authoritative secondary sources as well identifying how to incorporate primary sources. The session will also help you to be more comfortable using transliteration standards and tools for Russian personal names. Lastly, you will exposed to various strategies that will be helpful to know as you search for sources.

Assignment Details

Students in this course will be expected to write a 7-10 page paper (weighted at 25% of final grade) due on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

In addition to today's class, please refer back to this guide to review search strategies, library databases and journals, transliteration, and citation tools that may be useful to you while working on your paper.
