Print  

The University Libraries provide access to print and scan stations as part of the campus-wide printing and scanning initiative.  You may print from University Libraries' computers as well as your own personal devices.

Printing from a Library Computer

You may print from University Libraries' computers in few easy steps.

  1. Log-in to a library computer with your idetntikey username and password.
    1. Open the document you want to print.
    2. Select print and select the type of printer you want to send to (e.g. BW, Color, BW two sided, Color two sided, etc.).
    3. Select print properties such as the number of copies and properties of the print job (e.g. color, b/w, portrait, landscape, etc.) and select print.
  2. Enter identikey username and password.
    1. Go to a wepa printer.
    2. Swipe your BuffOne card.
    3. Select your job and print.
  3. ​Or, you may choose to be given a code to enter at the wepa kiosk.
    1. Go to a wepa printer and enter the code or login to your account. 
    2. Then select your payment method and retrieve your document.

Printing from a Personal Computer

You may print from your own computer in few easy steps.

  1. Download either the  Windows or Mac wepa Print app and install on your computer.
    1. After installation, search the institution list for University of Colorado Boulder.
    2. You will be directed to sign in to CU Boulder's Federated Identity Service.
    3. Once logged in, wepa will show up in your system tray and wepa printers will be available when you choose to print documents.
  2. Open the document you want to print.
  3. Select print and select the type of printer you want to send to (e.g. BW, Color, BW two sided, Color two sided, etc.).
  4. Select print properties such as the number of copies and properties of the print job (e.g. color, b/w, portrait, landscape, etc.) and select print.
    1. You will be given a code to enter at the wepa kiosk to release this print job.
  5. Go to a wepa printer and enter the code or login to your account. Then select your payment method and retrieve your document.

Email Printing

You may print from any device that supports email in few easy steps.  

  1. Be sure you have logged into to your wepa account, online or at a print station!
  2. Compose a new email to print@wepanow.com
  3. Attach documents you'd like to print
  4. Enter in first line of email body color and/or duplex (double-sided) to change settings
  5. Send the email 
  6. A six-digit code will be emailed immediately to you
  7. Go to a wepa printer and use the code from the email, or login to your account
  8. Select your payment method and retrieve your document

 

Supported Document Extensions: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .pdf & .rtf

Document Options

  • “color” – print the document in color
  • “duplex” – print the document on front and back of each piece of paper

PowerPoint Options
Powerpoint presentations will be printed as Slides unless you specify one of the options below:

  • “slides or slides1” – Slides
  • “handouts or handouts1” – Handouts, one per page
  • “handouts2 or slides2” – Handouts, two per page
  • “handouts3 or slides3” – Handouts, three per page
  • “handouts4 or slides4” – Handouts, four per page
  • “handouts6 or slides6” – Handouts, six per page
  • “handouts9 or slides9” – Handouts, nine per page
  • “notespages” – NotesPages: portrait orientation with each slide in upper half and lower half blank for notes
  • “outline” – Outline: all slides in order with outline of text.

Use the wepa Print app for Apple or Android to print using your mobile device.

Apple Mobile Printing 

Upload documents from an Android device by using the Android Mobile App. Download the Android App from the Google Play Store by searching ‘wēpa print‘.

  1. Download the wepa print app from the Apple App store.
  2. Open the document you'd like to print and select the share icon.
  3. Select Open in wepa Print.
  4. Log in to your wepa account and select the number of copies and properties of the print job (e.g. color, b/w, portrait, landscape, etc.).
  5. Tap Send to wepa.
  6. Go to a wepa printer, login to select your payment method, and retrieve your document.

 

Android Mobile Printing 

Upload documents from an Android device by using the Android Mobile App. Download the Android App from the Google Play Store by searching wēpa print‘.

  1. Download the wepa print app from the Google Play store.
  2. Open the app and log in to your wepa account.
  3. Select File to print.
  4. Navigate to the file you'd like to print.
  5. Select the number of copies and properties of the print job (e.g. color, b/w, portrait, landscape, etc.).
  6. Tap Send to wepa.
  7. Go to a wepa printer, login to select your payment method, and retrieve your document.

USB Printing

After selecting a file / document from the Print Station USB screen menu, print setting options will appear. Depending on the file format, different options will be available.

  1. Go to a wepa printer and select USB drive from the printing options
  2. Insert your USB drive into the available port
  3. Select the files you'd like to print, as well as the properties of the print job (e.g. color, b/w, portrait, landscape, etc.)
  4. Select your payment method and retrieve your document

Print from the Cloud

Access your storage including Dropbox, Google Drive, Office 365 or OneDrive from wepa kiosks.

  1. Go to a wepa printer kiosk and login using your Buff One card, CU credentials, or wepa account.
  2. Select Cloud Storage, then pick the where your document is saved (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
  3. Log in to your cloud account.
  4. Select the document you'd like to print as well as the number of copies and properties of the print job (e.g. color, b/w, portrait, landscape, etc.).
  5. Select your payment method, and retrieve your document.

Upload to Print

Upload documents from the wēpa website by logging in and selecting the Web Upload icon. Supported Document Extensions: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .pdf, .rtf Supported Image Extensions: .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, .tiff, .tif

  1. Login to wepanow.com.
  2. Select Web Upload.
  3. Locate the documents using the file finder or drag the documents you wish to print to the browser.
  4. Select Send to wepa to add them to your account.
  5. Go to a wepa printer, login to select your payment method, and retrieve your document.

Payment Methods

Buffonecard

Buff OneCard

All full time students who sign up for a wepa account using their University of Colorado credentials will receive $5.00 worth of free prints to use during the 2017-2018 school year. You can add funds to your wepa account online or from any wepa kiosk using a credit or debit card.  

 

Campus Cash Card

CU students and employees as well as public patrons can make payments with a Campus Cash Card (available at the Buff OneCard office or from the Campus Cash card vending machine opposite the Norlin Commons Desk). 

Credit Cards

Securely pay for your prints directly with a credit or debit card. Please note: These transactions will incur an additional $0.40 per print job service fee, imposed by financial institutions. Avoid this fee by using your credit/debit card to load a minimum of $5 into your wepa account, then select wepa account as your method of payment.

Cost

  • Black & White Single-Sided: $0.08
  • Black & White Double-Sided: $0.15
  • Color Single-Sided: $0.45
  • Color Double-Sided: $0.89

Refunds

To submit a refund request, email help@wepanow.com and include relevant information about the issue including your name, number of copies and what went wrong. See complete refund instructions on wepa's support website.
