Which Style should you use?

There are many possible citation styles. Your professor will tell you which style they prefer you cite your paper in. Each style has a particular way of recording the Author, Title, etc. of the sources you use to support your research. This can be initially quite confusing. Do not hesitate to email the Japanese Studies Librarian if you have questions. Generally, the following three are the most popular:
