Learning Your Way Around the Libraries

To get oriented with University Libraries in your first weeks on campus, we suggest:

  • Find out who your Subject Specialist is. We have a librarian for every major on campus!
  • Find your study spot. Do you love windows, quiet space, or noisier collaborative space? We've got 'em all!
  • Explore our locations and collections! We have five libraries on campus and many nooks and crannies to investigate.
  • Stash your stuff! We have lockers on the first floor of Norlin library so you don't have to haul your books and belongings all over campus. Ask the Circulation Desk for a first-come, first-serve locker. Lockers are free and are checked out on a semester-long basis.
  • Try emailing yourself an article using OneSearch. Your Identikey and password will get you into our materials from off-campus, too.
