A guide for National History Day research at Norlin Library

Welcome to Norlin Library for National History Day 2018!

You can use this guide to find helpful tips for finding great resources and to make sure you have the information you need to find those resources at home!

You cannot check out books or journals from the library. But, here are a few suggestions if there is a book or resource that you need to use for longer than one day:

  • Always check to see if there is an electronic version.
  • Scan the most important parts of the book (including the title page!)
  • If you need to take home a particular book, then you can use your library card through the Boulder or Louisville Public Libraries to order the book through Prospector.  Here is the link to Prospector.
    • Search for your book
    • "Request it"
    • Select your public library
    • Enter your card number
    • Pick up from your local branch when it's ready!

Most of the articles that you will find in our catalog are only available on campus and on our computers.

Save time! Look for articles using OneSearch and save the permanent link so that you can locate them easily when you get here!
